Objectives

  • To improve access to SRH information and sexuality education using a rights based approach
  • To improve access to high quality SRH services using a rights based approach


Challenges

  • Lack access to SRH information, education and services leading to death or lifelong injuries
  • Significant gap in contraceptive prevalence rates (CPR) between rich and poor within and across countries due to increasing demand, declining resources and lack of contraceptive commodities
  • Complex linkage between Poverty, SRH and rights continue to exist
  • Poor, marginalized, including youth, continue to face discrimination in access to SRH services, contributing to higher maternal mortality and morbidity rates in these communities
