To reduce socio-economic, cultural, religious, political and legal barriers to accessing SRH information, education and services

To strengthen political commitment and support for SRH programs

To empower women to exercise their choice and rights in regard to their sexual and reproductive lives

To increase male commitment and responsibility to SRH

To improve access to SRH information and sexuality education using a rights based approach

To improve access to high quality SRH services using a rights based approach

CHALLENGES

Lack access to SRH information, education and services leading to death or lifelong injuries

Significant gap in contraceptive prevalence rates (CPR) between rich and poor within and across countries due to increasing demand, declining resources and lack of contraceptive commodities

Complex linkage between Poverty, SRH and rights continue to exist

Poor, marginalized, including youth, continue to face discrimination in access to SRH services, contributing to higher maternal mortality and morbidity rates in these communities
