Mrs Sun Paranjothy is the Director of Programmes of the International Planned Parenthood Federation, East and South East Asia and Oceania Region. She joined IPPF in February 1992 as a Programme Analyst and was promoted to Evaluation Officer in 1996. She took on the post of Director of Programmes in 2000.

Prior to taking up appointment with IPPF, Sun was attached to the Malaysia Civil Service, as a statistician and focused on Population & Family Health Statistics.

As Director of Programmes, assists in the overall coordination of the programmes of the Member Associations, including provision of technical support to Member Associations in the areas of project cycle management. Sun is also responsible for the finances of the secretariat.
